Chalet Cooks / Host required for the Winter season with Ski Magic!

The chalet cook / hosts primary responsibility is to create a warm and welcoming environment in their assigned chalets for all guests, including children and to provide excellent quality food and maintain the company’s high standards as set out in the staff manual.

You will be required to answer guest’s questions relating to the resort and the chalet and to resolve any small problems that guests may have. Your aim is to ensure that guests enjoy the best possible skiing holiday.

You will be required to shop and budget for all food and cleaning materials once a week usually on a Friday morning.

Chalet cooks / hosts are required to prepare and serve breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal each day, clean their chalet and host for their guests. You must be able to cook to a good dinner party standard and follow recipes. Formal qualifications are not vital but experience in catering for groups in a home environment or in restaurants is essential.

Applicants should be outgoing and enthusiastic and a sense of humour helps! Cooking experience is essential as you must be able to prepare, cook and serve a 3 or 4 course meal to our /your guests. Experience in cooking at dinner parties for 8 or more people, have attended or be willing to attend a relevant chalet cookery course. 

Must be 19 or over, singles, mature applicants and couples are welcome to apply.
