This is a varied role to include covering for days off in the chalet, driving, shopping, carrying out deliveries, chalet work, maintenance (hot tubs and chalets) and snow clearing.

You will be in charge of ensuring that all the chalets are in good working order.  From fixing a broken toilet seat, to mending a tumble drier, or a leaky pipe, you must be able to turn your hand to all things DIY. You will be in charge of running the hot tubs in the chalets, to include twice daily visual checks, and a weekly empty and refill.

You will assist with cleaning and bed making in our self catered chalet on changeover day (Saturday) and also assist in one of our catered chalets on their changeover day (Sunday)

Along with the the other chalet support, you will do the weekly chalet shop.

Additional Duties.

  • Maintenance and upkeep of the mini bus, accounting for all mileage and fuel consumption costs. Reporting immediately to the Resort Manager if any repairs are required
  • Weekly clean outside and inside of the minibus
  • Refuelling, checking snow chains, light bulbs, oil and screen wash
  • Assisting with deliveries and movement of stock between the chalets
  • Collection and delivery of wine to the chalets
  • Delivery and stacking of wood in the chalets
  • Assisting with the shopping and delivery of shopping to the chalets
  • Snow Clearing, keeping all driveways, paths, steps and parking spaces (for guest and company vehicles) around the chalets clear of snow at all times
  • Setting up breakfast and clearing away after breakfast on the staff day off and setting up breakfast on the morning off.
  • Assisting in the chalets when required as directed by the Resort Manager. This can include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, changing towels, taking rubbish to the bins and helping with washing up

Experience of driving a mini bus is essential, and driving in snowy conditions is preferable.

This position demands a great deal of flexibility and interaction with both guests and colleagues. You must be good at working alone and as part of a team.  You must have high work standards, be self motivated and take pride in your work. 


Essential: UK/EU passport, a UK National Insurance and a UK bank account.

Full EU Driving Licence, you must be over 23 years of age to drive our vehicles and have held a clean driving licence for at least five years. A clean licence with no more than 3 points.

Must have demonstrable experience and good practical "DIY" skills, a background in maintenance/working on building sites preferred.

Prior hands-on experience in the hotel and catering industry is desirable.
