The French Secretary of State for Tourism has announced that a "Health Pass" will not be required on the ski slopes this winter unless the COVID situation worsens in resorts. The precise protocol will be known in mid-October.
The Secretary of State, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, delivered an announcement on September 30, at the end of the Domaines Skiables De France congress in Chambery:
"We will be opening the ski lifts this winter, we are just waiting for the health instructions. "
Officially, the details will be known on October 13, when the Health Vigilance bill is presented to the Council of Ministers.
Current regulations require people to have a "health pass" to visit indoor public spaces, travel on long-distance public transport, attend large events and visit cultural attractions.
