Online healthcare specialists ZoomDoc have launched a new service that can help British resort workers secure their seasonal employment in France.
To be able to work in France, all non EU employees must abide by the French labour code which requires a ‘Certificat d’aptitude au travail’ - a certificate of fitness to work. Zoomdoc have introduced a same-day service that provides a person with a Republique Francaise Medical Certificate – signed, stamped and sent by post.
How it works?
Following the purchase of your France work medical certificate, you will be asked to upload medical evidence by completing a short online form and submitting a 30-second to 1-minute video confirming your identity and that you are fit and well.
You will also be asked to upload your digital Summary Care Record, which details current and past medical health conditions, medications and immunisations. This can be accessed on request from your GP surgery, or via the NHS app (if linked with your surgery).
Your evidence is then reviewed by UK doctors, prior to issuing your medical certificate of good health. If the doctors have any further questions, they may give you a quick call. All of the doctors working with ZoomDoc are fully registered with the FCDO (Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office).
This medical certificate is signed by a UK FCDO-registered doctor and includes a QR code enabling verification. The Republique Francaise Medical Certificate will also be provided as part of this service.
What will I need to supply?
To allow us to assess your condition and issue a medical certificate, we will require the following information:
- A photo of your passport or driving license
- Your completed online medical form
- Your digital Summary Care Record
- Details of your regular NHS GP (if you have one)
