Sunsail Clubs currently recruit for Club Vounaki in Greece. Sailing is like the way of life here. The resort offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new. Our Kid’s Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include Tennis courts, fitness Studio and Mountain Biking. About the role

Our season has now started but do not worry – you have not missed out! We are still recruiting for our stand-by list. What this means is, should you be successful at one of our assessment days then we would be able to offer you a position to join the rest of our team in Greece, if a position becomes available. This role will require you to travel at short notice so please do not apply for this position if you cannot travel within 1 week.Providing professional varied land sports weekly program to all levels whilst ensuring a safe coaching environment. You will work as part of a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver the weekly on land activity program to include, tennis, mountain biking, fitness for all levels of fitness ability
  • Organising weekly tennis tournaments for adults and children
  • Be responsible for all on land sports equipment and stock
  • Carry out regular maintenance on equipment as required, including mountain bikes and fitness equipment ensuring safe to use
  • To offer a comprehensive and safe induction service to mountain biking
  • To deliver a varied exercise program and classes including; Pilates, Aerobics, Aqua Fit and Stretch & Relax
  • To adhere to all Company polices and procedures
  • Participate in client briefings
  • Administration of maintenance log
  • Ensure all on land activities operates safely and within Health & Safety standards
  • Provide supervision during Video Club and evening entertainment for children
  • Carryout baby-sitting and evening care duties.
  • Contribute fully to the overall running of the club, by involvement with quizzes, weekly prize giving and joining guests for evening half-board meals
  • Carry out transfer day duties, such as representing the company at the airport
  • You will be required to be flexible in your job role and may be required to move between different resorts or departments according to operational needs

Requirements

Essential:

  • LTA/PTR (US) Coach Award
  • YMCA (or equivalent) Gym Instructor
  • Pilaties qualification OR experience / ability to deliver stretch and tone class
  • Recognised Mountain Bike Leader Award
  • 2 year experience of coaching at various levels
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Ability to work as a reliable member of the team
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Good communication skills - oral and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • First Aid certificate
  • Suitable CRB check
