RECRUITING NOW - We require a Second Chef for our club hotel in the picturesque resort of Val Cenis, nestled in the French Alps.
You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef as required in the preparation and cooking of all meals. We are looking for a chef with some professional training and plenty of confidence to deliver modern cuisine that incorporates all of the amazing produce and seasonal ingredients available in France, creating memorable and mouth-watering meals for our clients.

You will be responsible for assisting Head Chef as required in the preparation and cooking of all meals.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of breakfast on a rota basis.
  • Baking of cakes for afternoon tea on a rota basis.
  • Acting as Head Chef once a week.
  • Supervising the kitchen assistant with regard to all food preparation and cleaning.
  • Ensuring kitchen and storage areas are clean and safe, meeting statutory health and safety requirements.

We are an independent family run firm with over thirty years experience of overseas staffing.

Requirements

Previous catering experience or qualification is essential.
