Description

Want to spend next winter on the slopes? Chalet Hosts required for a December start in the Alps. Our winter season Hosts are arguably the best in the Alps. Quietly and confidently organising our chalets the Hosts create fantastic welcoming environments for our guests’ holidays. 

No cooking is involved in our Hosting roles but you will need the flair to be able to look after a chalet of up to 12 guests. Attention to detail and a love of hospitality is as important as your work experience for this job. A previous background in guest relations and ideally experience in waiting and/or housekeeping, silver service is highly desirable for us.

Our Hosts works alongside a chef and on a daily basis serve breakfast and keep the chalet bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas thoroughly clean. They have a split day and have some well-earned time on the mountain after their morning shifts. Their day then continues later in the afternoon with serving the afternoon tea and children’s high tea in the chalet before hosting a four course evening meal that the chef had created complete with champagne and canapés.

Our hosts have a special skill of making our chalets the most welcoming and cosy in the Alps and also have eagle eyes for spotting anything out of place!

Requirements

We’re looking for Hosts who are reliable, have good self-motivation are organised and professional.

Throughout the summer we’ll be running Host Assessment Days and are currently inviting applications for this winters team in France, Switzerland and Austria.

It’s not essential that you hold a driving licence but it is helpful. You will however need to have an EU passport and a valid National Insurance number. If you are a non EU citizen we require a valid French and UK working visa to accept your application.
