Description

We are currently looking for chalet couples  to work as Chalet Managers and Chefs in the Alps for next season.

This a great opportunity for you to work together to operate your own luxury chalet and ski in the largest ski area in the world.

Together you are responsible for the day to day running of your chalet ensuring that all aspects of your guests stay & operations within the chalet run smoothly & efficiently.

The Chalet Chef

The Chalet Chef is responsible for preparing meals for guests according to their requirements. Our guests pay for the food at cost the end of the week meaning chefs are not constrained to cooking to a budget. They can have as many or as few courses as they wish which allows our chefs to be creative and to vary their menus to suit individual guests' needs.

Before guests arrive at the resort we identify exactly what the guests require including any specialities, so the chef needs to be flexible, experienced and creative as each week can present a different challenge.

The job includes budgeting, shopping, preparing, and cooking for guests for breakfast, afternoon tea, up to 5 course evening meals and on occasions preparing lunch. It also involces supporting the Chalet Manager in all aspects of running the chalet.

The Chalet Manager

The Chalet Manager is responsible for the efficient management and running of the chalet, ensuring that guests are being well cared for and all their needs are being met.

The job includes serving food, ordering wine, accounting, billing, organising guests’ requirements, booking restaurants, cleaning and generally managing the chalet.

You will be responsible for ensuring that, with the assistance of the housekeeper, the chalet is spotless and well maintained.
