Description
If you are a creative chef and want a demanding role and a challenge for the winter, look no further. Working in stunning privately owned chalets in one of Switzerland’s top ski resorts, this is a fantastic chance to create and design new dishes in an exciting environment.
You will:
* Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of Powder Byrne service
* Do all the shopping for food and domestic items for your chalet
* Do all menu design and planning
* Provide full breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and four/five course evening meal - depending on the client's requirements
* Ensure that all guests' dietary requirements are understood and catered for
* Prepare children's early supper if and when appropriate
* Assist in keeping your chalet clean and tidy at all times creating a warm, friendly environment
* Be responsible for all budgeting in your chalet
Requirements
You must be a professional and presentable team player and able to work within a small team. You should have excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills, good self-motivation and an ability to work on your own. You should have excellent time management and organisational skills, be highly flexible and pro-active.
You should have:
* Recognised catering qualification or extensive experience
* Minimum of 1 year working experience with a qualification or 2 years without a qualification
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience (desirable)
* Driving Licence
