At Riders Republic we think of each guest as if they were an old friend, yet we treat them as if they were our first. We have a laidback approach coupled with an acute eye for detail which leaves our guests feeling happy, relaxed and well looked after.
We are looking for a chef to work alongside the Chalet Hosts and with the chalet assistant(s) to manage his/her assigned chalet on a day to day basis, ensuring that the guests' needs are met at all times while maintaining the Company’s standards. Your primary responsibility is for the provision of excellent quality food and drinks in the assigned chalet as well as maintaining quality control in all chalets.
Your main duties will include:
* Providing breakfast (continental and cooked), afternoon tea (including freshly baked cakes/slices), packed (picnic) lunches if requested, children's high teas, dinner (3 courses) with wine and drinks to the Riders Republic standard, 6 days per week. You will also cater for any special diets as required (e.g., vegetarian, gluten free etc.)
* Cooking for yourself, other chalet staff and other Riders Republic employees as required
* Managing stock levels and ensuring that chalet costs are kept within budget
* Ensuring that the kitchen/dining areas are kept clean and tidy |
