Premiere Neige is a small, privately owned Scottish ski company. We provide quality catered chalet holidays as well as self catered chalets and apartments in the beautiful Alpine resort of Sainte Foy, France.

We are looking for independent, mature people who have a good work ethic, an understanding of the hospitality industry and who enjoy leading an active lifestyle. Sainte Foy is a small, family oriented resort so it ideally suits people who know how to make their own fun and are looking for a good balance between work and play.

Premiere Neige operate over 30 catered and self-catered chalets and apartments in this family ski resort, and are looking for an accountant to run our in-resort accounts department.

The Accountant will be primarily responsible for running the accounts for the French Office. This involves understanding and taking an interest in the day to day operations with a focus on monitoring and recording French expenditure, and liaising with the Sales team; ensuring customers are invoiced correctly.

On a day to day basis the role involves receiving and organizing French invoices, tracking expenditure and liaising with our UK office and accountant to ensure that they are properly recorded and paid.

During the winter the Accounts role has a strong involvement in ensuring that in resort products are correctly priced, and our in resort billing runs smoothly.

The role will involve managing an assistant with data entry and general administration responsibilities so some people management skills would be advantageous. Experience in budgeting and cash flow is an advantage.

Requirements
We are looking for a confident, mature, self reliant person who has experience in day to day accounting. The key qualities needed for this role are great organisational and problem solving skills, people management, strong accounting skills and a keen interest in getting to understand the business. Some knowledge of Sage Financials would be advantageous, although experience in other mainstream accounting systems can be applied to Sage. The ideal applicant will have considerable experience in Excel and is at home with Microsoft Office. An understanding of written and spoken French is a necessary requirement.

This position is available immediately and is ongoing; we are ideally looking for someone with a keen interest in the ski and snow industry that would like to make a home in the French Alpes for some time.
