Mobile Ski Technician

The mobile ski technicians are the face of Freeride. They represent the company to clients in contracted, non-contracted and private chalets.

Working hours are heavily weighted over the weekend when the mobile technicians work hard to prepare and deliver equipment to clients, providing the ultimate ski rental delivery service.

Based at our warehouse, this position will include:

* Advising clients on the appropriate equipment for their level and ability
* Preparing, fitting and adjusting client equipment correctly and accurately in chalets and in our warehouse
* Collection of equipment at the end of the rental period
* Driving clients to / from chalets as required
* Maintaining and cleaning vehicles
* Assisting where necessary in workshop and rental shop in Meribel and Brides Les Bains
* Promoting all Freeride services in chalets, to include retail and workshop services

The Freeride mobile technician role is extremely demanding, but the rewards in terms of ski time make it one of the most sought-after jobs in the 3 Valleys.

Requirements

Candidates must:

* Have held a clean driving licence for 3 years for vehicle insurance reasons
* Have good attention to detail and be computer literate
* Be fit and healthy as the role is physically demanding
* Have a smart appearance
* Have a good understanding of customer service and the ability to establish good client relations easily and naturally
* Be enthusiastic and passionate about skiing and snowsports
* Have excellent customer service and problem solving skills
* Be able to prioritise, work to deadlines, work efficiently under pressure

The role also involves frequent interaction with families and children in chalets, so the ability to work well and communicate with kids is also an advantage

No ski rental experience is necessary but keen skiers are preferred. Full training is given.
