Bring joy to Lapland in a highly rewarding role this winter as a jolly old man in a red suit!

The primary purpose of the vast majority of guests who come to Lapland is to visit the real Father Christmas. As such, candidates must fit the stereotypical resemblence of Santa. You must be extrovert, enjoying talking to children, be able to place yourself within the magic that is created around the character of Father Christmas. You must be capable of telling stories, providing answers to children’s questions (some times awkward) and be prepared to entertain. In addition, you must be comfortable with frequent photographs.

The nature of our Lapland product requires you to be highly organised as you will have to deal with large numbers of small family groups in a single day yet maintain and adhere to a strict predetermined time table. You will have to coordinate with your elves (or assistants) and also with the location coordinators where necessary.

Requirements

You will need to be a strong team player with good communication skills. You will need to be organised and be able to react to arising situations quickly and efficiently. You will need to have a good understanding of logistics and be able to coordinate with colleagues, suppliers and client groups. You will be dealing with clients and therefore customer service experience is an advantage.

You must be self motivated and confident in your abilities to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.

During the operational period the role will involve long working hours with little breaks or time off therefore endurance and the ability to work under pressure while presenting a jolly and festive demeanour at all times is crucial. Uniform will be provided. Previous experience with children is not necessary, although wold be a great advantage.
