Description

Work as a cook in this family run Hotel in the French Alps this winter! We are looking for an experienced individual with a passion for cooking to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen in this idyllic setting.

On average we cater for 15/20 people a night with a maximum capacity of 34. We serve our guests a set menu 7 days a week (you would be working 6 days, a second Cook would cover your time off) of good, simple, well presented, but not basic, food.

You would be required to prepare and cook breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course dinner six days a week. You would also be in charge of the kitchen over all, i.e. food ordering & shopping, budgeting and cleanliness.

You would work with one other cook in the kitchen who would act as Head Cook on your time off.

Requirements

* clean driving licence (minimum 3 years)
* passion for cooking
* flexibility is essential
* outgoing, hard working and friendly personality
* knowledge of French would be an advantage
