Description
We're looking to employ a friendly, motivated, hard-working couple (or 2 friends) to help run our bedroomed chalet in Châtel this winter. Ideally we're looking for a chef and maid/cleaner combination but at the very least one must have sufficient cooking skills.
The scope of your duties will include:
• Cooking simple/hearty meals for up to 28 per night (pastas, casseroles etc)
• Preparation and cleaning away of food items for breakfast and evening meals each day
• Shopping for food or other general requirements for the chalet and its guests
• General Cleaning chores (e.g. hovering, making beds, washing up, dusting, cleaning toilets/bathrooms and floors, laying the table etc.)
• Laundry & ironing of necessary items in the chalet (linen, towels etc.)
• Ensuring the safety of guests
• To ensure guests are well looked after
Requirements
Applicants must have a valid EU passport or French/EU working visa, have a full, clean driving license for more than 3 years, be of a mature disposition, be physically fit with no recent major illnesses, and be a non smoker. Good people skills are also essential as you will be required to interact with clients on an ongoing basis.
