We are seeking a Chalet Manager who is a professional, highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, totally flexible, able to fill in as required and a natural people person.
You will manage a five person team, providing management of the chalet to ensure our guests' high expectations are met. Our ethos is to provide friendly efficient attentive and professional service without being overly formal.
Your duties will include:
* Liaison with managementregarding guests' pre-arrival requirements
* Producing a weekly staff rota
* Liaison and meeting with the chalet staff
* Welcoming of all guests to the chalet on arrival
* Discussing guests specific requirements
* Management of the staff to ensure service levels are maintained.
* Management of breakfast service, afternoon tea, the bar, evening service.
* Providing cover for driver duties.
* Management and cleaning of all bedrooms/bathrooms and communal areas on changeover day to a high standard.
* Ensuring the guests receive a safe, clean and hygienic environment during their stay.
* Assessing the stock control and coordinating with Head Chef's weekly shopping order.
* Liaison with the assistant chalet manager to ensure a smooth transition of service when off duty.
* Provide ski hosting 1 day a week
* Produce invoices for all guests ski passes, ski lessons, treatments, bar and others and ensure payment pre-departure.
* Bi-weekly meetings with staff to ensure problems are addressed in a timely manner.
* Monitoring performance of all staff and provide feed back management
* Reporting any maintenance problems promptly within the chalet |

* Minimum of two years work experience in a management role, hospitality or customer services.
* Teamwork - work closely with the Freedom Ski team.
* Flexibility - nothing is too much trouble attitude to ensure guests have their best holiday possible.
* Customer service - ensuring guests receive the highest possible level, mixing with guests where appropriate.
* Organisation - making sure your team is working effectively to achieve the high service standards.
* Highly passionate and driven with the ability to work hard.
* Accounting skills and computer literate
* Full clean drivers licence |
