We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Housekeeper who is hardworking, enthusiastic and a natural perfectionist.
You will have two distinct roles:
With 8 ensuite bedrooms, an open plan, glass fronted lounge/dining area over three floors with massage room, cinema and sauna your primary role to ensure it is kept in immaculate condition.
* Cleaning of all bedrooms/bathrooms and communal areas on a daily basis to a high standard.
* Ensuring the guests receive a safe, clean and hygienic environment during their stay.
* Assessing the stock control of cleaning products provided and making sure the Head Chef includes in weekly shopping order.
* Carrying out cleaning of laundry (washing, drying and pressing) to a high level of quality throughout the week.
* Reporting any maintenance problems promptly within the chalet.
Your secondary role is to provide management of the chalet when the chalet manager is off duty.
* Liaison with the chalet manager to ensure a smooth transition of service.
* Management of the staff to ensure service levels are maintained.
* Dealing with guests specific requirements and organising your staff accordingly.
* Management of breakfast service, setting table and providing waitress service.
* Management of afternoon tea, setting up and serving tea and cakes.
* Management of evening service, setting table daily for dinner and providing waitress service.
* Providing cover for driver duties |

* Minimum of one years work experience in hospitality or customer services roles.
* Teamwork - work closely with Chalet Manager and other members of staff.
* Flexibility - nothing is too much trouble attitude.
* Customer service - ensuring guests receive the highest possible level, mixing with guests where appropriate.
* You will need to hold an EU passport.
* Organisation
* Highly passionate about cleanliness with excellent attention to detail.
* Full clean drivers licence |
