Share your passion for paddling with our young guests at PGL centres across the UK, France and Spain in 2009! Apply now!
You’ll be leading introductory sessions, briefing guests on safety, organising games and making sure your group have a fun, safe time on the water. At some smaller UK centres, you’ll split your time between paddling sessions and leading land-based activities including climbing, ropes courses, quadbiking and archery. We offer a comprehensive pre-employment training course to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence you’ll need for this.
The variety of our centre locations means plenty of opportunity to paddle during your free time, from flat and moving water in the UK, to sea kayaking on the French Med and adrenalin-busting white water in the French Alps and Ardeche.
If you want to take advantage of our free four-week BCU training and assessment course in the Ardeche, you must be available from early April and able to work the whole season. There are also opportunties to gain paddling qualifications as an Activity Instructor.

Minimum BCU Trainee Level 2 Coach award or UKCC Level 1 Coach award holder.
If you are a competent paddler yet don’t currently hold any formal coaching awards, please still contact us as we operate BCU training and assessment programmes throughout the season, helping you to get qualified as you work.
You must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
