Description
Spend the winter working in a ski resort for a small chalet operator based only in Meribel, 3 valleys. With 27 years experience and an excellent reputation as an employer, the team in resort is key to Meriski’s success
We are the looking for someone to run one of our smaller 6 bed chalets.
For this position you would be working on your own and be responsible for cleaning the chalet on a daily basis preparing breakfast and dinner and acting as "front of house" for guests.
We are looking for creative chefs who will have the opportunity to cook innovative, delicious dishes and have a life experience living in the French Alps at the same time.
You will be expected to fulfil the following:
- Menu design and planning for weekly clients using local suppliers and produce
- Ensure that all guests’ dietary requirements are understood and catered for
- To do all the shopping for food within the weekly budget
- Provide full breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and four course evening meal
- Prepare children’s early dinner if and when appropriate

Requirements
Candidates need to be flexible, hardworking, be able to work independently, have cooking experience, ideally having worked in ski chalet before and a friendly outgoing personality.
