Spend the winter working in a ski resort for a small chalet operator based only in Meribel, 3 valleys. 
With 27 years experience and an excellent reputation as an employer, the team in resort is key to Meriski’s success.

We are looking for creative, experienced chefs who will have the opportunity to cook innovative, delicious dishes and have a life experience living in the French Alps at the same time.

You will be expected to fulfil the following:
  • Menu design and planning for weekly clients using local suppliers and produce
  • Ensure that all guests’ dietary requirements are understood and catered for
  • To do all the shopping for food within the weekly budget
  • Provide full breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and four course evening meal
  • Prepare children’s early dinner if and when appropriate
  • Assist the chalet host in keeping the chalet clean and tidy at all times, creating a warm, welcoming environment.

In return we offer a highly competitive package which includes, return flights from the UK, shared accommodation in a large staff chalet in central Meribel with large communal living room and kitchen, meals on a full board basis, lift pass and free equipment for the whole season.

Requirements

  • Applicants need to be flexible, team players who are not afraid of hard work and 'mucking in'
  • Applicants must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused and self motivated. 
  • relevant cooking qualification or/and significant experience in professional kitchens
