Want to manage a luxury chalet in the French Alps this winter?
We're looking for someone enthusiastic and highly motivated to manage a gorgeous, luxury chalet, ensuring that your guests’ needs are met at all times while maintaining our high standards.
The Chalet Manager is jointly responsible for the day to day management of the assigned chalet. You will have an overall coordinating role in the chalet and supervises the work of the chalet. Your main role is one of host, waiting staff and housekeeper. All of the cooking is done by the chalet's professional chef.
The hours are long and the job is physically and emotionally demanding and you need to be good at working as part of a team.
No shopping or budgeting duties. |

You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused, self motivated, take pride in your work at all times and be conscientious.
The position does not require any cooking skills but you must have significant prior hands-on experience in the hotel and catering industry, e.g., waitressing and/ or chamber-maiding, ideally in high level establishments (4* hotels, 2 AA rosette level restaurants).
While previous chalet work or spoken French is not a requirement, it can be an advantage. Driving licence and at least 3 years driving experience is also highly desirable.
Previous supervisory experience is also desirable. |
