Nanny/Nursery Assistant

Description

Your responsibilities will include working as part of the Nursery Child Care team, to provide excellent care for children aged from 4 months to 3 years. You must ensure a safe, stimulating and activity packed environment is maintained in our nurseries. Nannies will be the primary worker for one or more children each week which involves taking an active part in that child/ children’s daily care, paperwork and liaising directly with their parents. Nursery Assistants will assistant in the running of the Nursery as directed by the Head Nanny or the Resort Child Care Manager.
 
Providing fun activities in the snow, as well as in the nursery is an essential part of the role.
 
All of our Nannies/ Nursery Nurses will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, with a genuine enthusiasm for providing first class child care.
 
As a vital part of a large child care team you need to remain flexible and willing to work in other areas of the child care programme and resort when deemed suitable by the resort management. In addition to the general skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as lifting children, carriage of ski/child care equipment and luggage. 

Requirements

Required experience:

• Nannies - CACHE DCE, NNEB, B-TEC or NVQ level 3 qualification or NVQ level 2 qualification with a minimum of 2 years professional practice
• Nursery assistants - NVQ level 2 qualification without professional practice
• Customer service experience desirable
• EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
