Description
As either a Chalet Assistant or Hotel Assistant you will provide a welcoming atmosphere for the guests and ensure that the high standards of the company are maintained.
You will provide a first class service to all guests, welcome them on arrival and help them with their luggage. You will provide guests with information about the chalet or Chalet Hotel and resort, be present at the welcome meeting and deal with any issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
You will assist with the set-up and serving of breakfast and evening meals and cleaning afterwards. You may be required to assist serving behind the bar on a rota. You will perform daily housekeeping to maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and tidiness in guest bedrooms, bathrooms and the communal areas throughout the property.
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. Throughout the season you will be expected to fully support the Chalet Hotel, Chalet and Child Care programmes in your resort.
Requirements
- Customer service experience essential
- At least 2 years' (full or part-time) experience in the hospitality/catering/tour ops industry essential
- EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
