Description

As Head Chef you will be leading the kitchen team in one of our Chalet Hotels or Bistros. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that catering provided is of a high and consistent standard and that budgets and targets are adhere to.
 
Our Head Chefs are also involved in the training and set up of your team, and thereafter their continued development and progression throughout the season. You will need to lead the team in terms of kitchen hygiene, and procedures maintaining company image at all times.
 
You will need to be a natural, tactful leader, self motivated and confident in your own abilities, show excellent communication skills, promoting team work throughout the hotel, supporting the Hotel Manager to provide our high company standards.
 
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the Chalet Hotel and Child Care programmes in your resort.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Qualification and proven catering experience essential 
  • Staff management and experience in running large kitchens essential
  • Accounts and budgeting experience essential
  • Customer service experience desirable
  • EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
